so tonight we're going to show you howwe prepare the fish fillets that we
catch whenever we go ice fishing this isa really easy recipe and what you'll
need to get started is one cup ofhomemade breadcrumbs 3/4 of a cup of
freshly grated Parmesan cheese oneteaspoon of salt one teaspoon of paprika
1/2 a teaspoon teaspoon of dried oreganoand a half a teaspoon of freshly cracked
black pepper and you're just gonna stirthis together now I did mention that I'm
using homemade breadcrumbs I have notmade this with Sorbo breadcrumbs so if
you try that I'm not sure how it willturn out but how many breadcrumbs are
really easy to make what I do is youjust get a loaf of bread tear it into
about 1 inch pieces and put it in a foodprocessor pulse it until it makes bread
crumbs and then I just store them in aziploc bag in the freezer and get out
what I need whenever I need them ok sothis is this recipe works for anywhere
between 12 to 15 filets this is amixture of crappie perch and bluegill
that's what we usually catch so whatyou're gonna do is dip each one in a
half a cup of melted butter and then putit into the breadcrumb mixture and you
can go ahead and laugh at me for wearinggloves I know somebody will say
something about itbut I personally just don't like to
touch raw meat so that's why I'm wearinggloves so you're just gonna pack the
breadcrumbs on and put them into abaking dish I used like a 9 by 13 baking
dish and this recipe actually came fromsometimes you'll see in the ice fishing
videos Jon's friend Brad his wife foundthis recipe and they shared it with us
and this is personally my favorite wayto prepare the fish that we catch it's
really easy you just bake it in the ovenJohn likes another way to do it is um to
dip the fish into beat an egg and then roll it in
crushed up Ritz crackers and fry and oilthat weighs good too but it's Messier
you have oil splattering everywhere so Ilike this way the best it's the easiest
and least messy way to do it okay soonce you have those all breaded what I
like to do is if there's any leftoverbreading in this boy just kind of pack
it on any places that I missed and ifthere's any leftover butter I just kind
of just sold over the top alright andwe're gonna put these into a 375-degree
oven for 25 minutes
and this is what it looks like wheneverthey are done all right guys here's the
final product I'm telling you this fishis so good mmm
telling you you guys like the cook andfishing and hot oil that is good but you
have got to try this I'm telling youit's quick it's easy and cleanup is a
cinch you'll love it
you
